“what i think i look like”
“how strangers think i look riding downtown”
guided a group rock climbing in mission gorge of 30 teenage boys with Front Range Climbing this morning (pictures will be up on flickr soon). came home, went on a lonnng bike ride uptown to die antwoord, biked back downtown through the gaslamp, seaport village, and to the harbor, weaving and racing in between heavy downtown traffic. the sun was starting to set, and i arrived at a spot i always visit to meditate on the sunset.
i sat on the grass among the rocks overlooking the harbor, and coronado bridge.  a storm was rolling in, getting more grey, windy, and beautiful as the seconds passed. i laid back in the grass and watched the sky. closed my eyes. took a deep breath in. i don’t know how long i was there, like that, but the horizon was dark and slight mist began to fall.. i opened my eyes, grabbed my bike, and rode home.

luv on Flickr.
one of the cutest pictures i’ve ever taken.
can we just talk about how fucking adorable this is? this dad, i’m assuming single, bought his daughter a balloon (that she can’t even read yet), packed pb&j’s for them, and took her to balboa park for free museum tuesday. i don’t know why i find this so terribly heart warming. more men like this are needed.

people like this idiot give cyclists in san diego a bad name..  6th ave is the best street to bomb (the RIGHT direction) anyways. lame.
